WAM: the eclectic design of Marco Zito for Bross

Wam bergere

The workmanship is typical of Bross production, associated with the concepts of quality and precision in the development of details. The design, instead, is the clean and contemporary one of Marco Zito, who for years has been signing the projects of some of the most important players in the world of international design.

The result is called WAM – Wait a Minute, and consists of a collection of seats and furnishing accessories that can be completely customized and adapted to residential and contract spaces.

The starting point around which the project is developed is the slender steel rod structure, proposed in two finishes (brushed bronzed or mat black), which embraces the seat and back volumes. The set of these few elements generated lounge armchairs, benches, poufs, coffee tables and, in 2019, a small sofa, a stool and an ample bergère that, thanks to its enveloping shape, repairs those who are seated by the surrounding noise.

WAM is an eclectic complement that encourages experimentation in the combination of colors and textures: the body is enhanced by the inclusion of two fabrics with contrasting colors or finishes, including the extraordinary Luigi Bevilacqua fabrics designed in collaboration with Marco Zito himself and freely inspired by the precious Murrine of the Venetian lagoon.

In velvet, with natural shades or bright colors, WAM family products are the result of a flexible and transversal design concept and acquire different identities depending on the chosen customization.
