For the second year, SpaghettiWall participates at the Genoa Boat Show for SpaghettiWall, decorating the VIP Lounge with its range of wallpapers made entirely ‘just in time’ and to measure. Among the graphics of the new ‘Grand Tour’ collection by Studio SMIT, glimpses of a cloudy sky, desaturated pinewoods, and stylized corals, the Italian brand’s subjects create the typical suggestions of Mediterranean coastlines, covering the walls of the most exclusive space of the fair, scheduled from 19 to 24 September.
‘Decoration accompanies the new frontiers of the nautical sector,’ says Federica Borgobello, CEO of SpaghettiWall, who continues: ‘An important evolution is taking place in terms of interiors for the entire yacht & cruise sector, which is opening up to new opportunities and surfaces. There is also a great opportunity around the marinas and ports that welcome private yachts, conceived as actual service hubs, with attention to every detail. In this sense, the support structures, in Italy and abroad, contribute to the growth of the shipbuilding industry and its image, and design becomes decisive in its combination of aesthetics, performance, flexibility, and tailor-made character’.
SpaghettiWall wallpapers are certified for nautical use according to the IMO-MED directive. They are printed at very high definition, customized each time according to the surface on which they will be applied, and can include surface treatments that guarantee even better performance and durability. Graphics can also be made to the customer’s request, following the traditionally bespoke approach of the marine industry.
‘The creative applications are countless, as are the special requests: imagine how extensive and complex this industry is, including yachts, superyachts, cruise ships, sailing or motor boats, hospitality architecture, and ports. Wallpaper is an extremely flexible tool, with which it is possible to create vertical or horizontal coverings – even in environments in direct contact with water such as bathrooms and kitchens -, boiserie, or artworks. Versatility is the richness of this product and it is allowing us to grow continuously in this special field‘ Federica Borgobello concludes.
