The Akita collection includes horizontal and vertical sideboards featuring geometric volumes and a balanced alternation of solids and voids as well as of finishes and colours. The arrangements are inspired by the eastern Wabi Sabi philosophy which is a tribute to austere and timeless beauty. They are available in four different sizes and with matt lacquered or heat-treated oak wood finishes and a tone-on-tone base with plinth or matt anthracite finish metal feet. The doors conceal handy shelves and feature a practical and noiseless push-to-open mechanism.
Zanette’s typical refined and pared-back design is magnificently expressed in the Montgomery sideboard available in the horizontal and vertical versions. Both share pure, geometric lines, interiors provided with handy shelves, gloss or matt lacquer finishes and a special grip recess consisting in a channel that becomes the distinguishing and decorative feature of the collection. The horizontal version is raised off the floor on four metal feet in the same colour as the unit arranged at the corners of the sideboard. The vertical version has a solid base by which the sideboard can stand directly on the floor.
