Tomasella interprets the contemporary sideboard

Classic-style occasional furniture is reinterpreted by the group to a variety of functions and configurations.

The Tomasella catalogue features an extensive range of sideboards, designed to be multifunctional units suitable for storage but also for display purposes, practical and extremely customisable in terms of materials, colours and sizes, to satisfy any interior requirement including those of the living room, kitchen, dining room and hallway.

The Metropolis collection is a balanced fusion of classic elements such as the structure – also available in open-pore lacquered wood – paired with contemporary, industrial-style elements, like the metal frame that encloses a transparent or smoked glass front, and interior-lit compartments. Also available in the tall, vertical version, it is inspired by the display cabinet of the 50s, a style already reinterpreted by the Nina sideboard that picks up its traditional aesthetic canons and combines them with contemporary finishes such as reeded glass and integrated led lights.

The range of Athena sideboards is reminiscent of the pop style enriched by the clearly-visible grip channels used as handles. These channels can be customised so that they contrast with the structure, in contemporary-style textural finishes, in lacquered glass or with a mosaic pattern.  Athena is available in the horizontal version with three doors or three drawers, or in the vertical version with four compartments and two drawers.

Diagonal, on the other hand, features a distinctive, diagonal open compartment right in the middle of the sideboard, available in various finishes that contrast with the structure. It is available in forty-four different configurations and it can be paired with the Krea modular wall panelling fitted with shelves and dividers which is customisable with the many Tomasella graphic designs including abstract, natural and geometric patterns. This wall panelling enriches the sideboard’s functions, giving it the opportunity to evolve with its surroundings and with its destination of use.
