Mysa, Bross design for the fall

Bright fireplaces, soft blankets, comfortable seats, warm wooden ceilings and colors linked to beige, gray and red: that is what you can’t miss on autumn days in your own home. To cuddle away from the cold is this season’s must and it is also the meaning of Mysa, a Swedish term that well describes the welcoming and familiar lines of the armchair designed by Michael Schmidt for Bross.

Of Nordic inspiration, the Mysa collection includes two lounge versions, with high or low back. The structure, in solid natural oak, stained or matt lacquered, supports the shell which is made even more comfortable by the insertion of a seat cushion: it is designed as a real ergonomic shell, a three-dimensional extruded piece – curved, bent and reclined to draw the different parts of the armchair -, which houses those who are seated there. The filling is covered with fabric and embellished with tone-on-tone or contrast stitching, which enhance the profiles and introduce a sartorial detail of great effect.

Mysa is a sign of identity and contemporaneity, which actualizes the Scandinavian language and its most famous traits, mixing them with the productive quality of Bross.
