Gian Paolo Venier for SpaghettiWall wallpapers

The pop, eccentric and artistic visions of the Hypenature, Hinted or Bloom graphics, signed by Gian Paolo Venier for SpaghettiWall, are diluted in the recent White Brush Collection project, where the designer experiments with a delicate tactile effect of embossed surfaces and a play of shades, in nuances of white on white.

His collaboration with the young wallpaper brand takes the form of a wide-ranging and heterogeneous design vocabulary, where suggestions of travel, distant cultures and contaminations converge to produce different textures and ideas, now of great visual impact, now of pure sophistication.

Hypernature brings art to the walls: the wallpaper focuses on a fluid, circular pattern -symbolic of nature and the world- that dominates the surface; the decorative motif is then offered in different colour variations, from black and white to very bright hues, making it a true abstract and contemporary picture for living spaces. The same pattern then, with a smaller size and repeated on the print medium, creates an additional graphic variant with great personality.

Hinted and Bloom both propose an interpretation of the botanical theme. In the former, in three colour variants, this is translated into brushstrokes of colour that trace the contours of vases from which stems of flowers and vegetation depart, all sketched in the same shade. With Bloom, on the other hand, Gian Paolo Venier superimposes petals and flowers in white on a geometric layer made of squares, which interrupt the texture for an unusual result.

A matrix of the three mentioned graphics, the sensibility of hand drawing also inspires the new White Brush Collection, a range of wall coverings composed of five subjects, again signed by Gian Paolo Venier for SpaghettiWall, where the graphic signs emerge slightly from the wallcovering material: they are in a light nuance and recall the mellow thickness of white, to make the wall a three-dimensional and soft world enriched with light and shadow, with the idea of retracing a typically Mediterranean tradition.

Sized according to the wall to which they are to be applied, White Brush Collection graphics are supplied on a substrate called Skin, a lightly textured wallpaper suitable for humidity-free indoor environments and with a width of 62 cm; Hypernature, Hinted and Bloom, on the other hand, can be selected in one of nine catalogue materials, also with sound-absorbing or water-resistant properties, for use in any type of environment.
