Frido, Bross heart-shaped design

Frido tavolino

It’s a design puzzle made of geometric shapes, each of which is associated with different finishes: here is Frido, the original coffee table born from the collaboration between Marco Zito and Bross, which starting from a few elements – the square and the circle, divided into triangles, rectangles and semicircles – and materials – oak and Canaletto walnut, bronze effect metal, white Carrara marble or black Marquinia marble – acquires infinite configurations and personalities. The collection was created to recover processing scraps, « sfridi » in Italian, and transform them into pieces which, according to the way they are assembled, are transformed into a rigorous surface or an iconic object.

There is an ellipsoidal, circular version, a surprising top reminiscent of the symbol of infinity or a large heart-shaped table, consisting of two rectangles that together generate a square and two semicircles, supported by a slim black or bronze painted metal structure. Each Frido module, each single shape, can be chosen with a finish independent of the others, without limits of combinations or customization, always associating the theme of compositional creativity with that of productive sustainability.
