Alberto Apostoli has been working for over twenty years in the wellness industry with an integrated and totalizing approach, so much so that today he’s recognized as one of the international leader in the field. His firm provides architectural, technical and interior design mainly for hospitality facilities, but also Project Management and Strategic Consulting for the positioning and the success of SPA.
The studio also carries out various activities to promote industry surveys and associations, with the aim of continuously innovate the market both from the point of view of the service offered and the use of technologies and innovative products. And really in product design that Alberto Apostoli collaborates with international companies to which he offers the opportunity to enter as protagonists in an ambit of great appeal and strong growth. Some products designed by Studio Apostoli have in fact become true icons for the wellness industry, as the treatment bed with aqua mattress “Mizu & Shiro”, which first, in ’99, used RGB LED technology.
Other exemple are the collaboration with Jacuzzi, started more than 10 years ago with the presentation of the system Sasha and recently renewed with XYZ, or again with Newform for the collection Aqualite, Friul Mosaic for the production of heated relaxation beds covered in mosaic and Nilo Beauty for the Eterea treatments bed.
XYZ + ™ is a versatile shower system that can be easily mounted in any type of space thanks to the wide range of elements proposed, also in terms of finishing. It includes tray, door, shower head (capable of delivering rain, cascade rain and pillar), mixer and hand shower. All these elements can be freely combined according to the user’s needs. The chrome, black or white finishes, in addition to the 8 mm tempered glass of the cabin, are enriched with inserts in satin white Techstone®.
Sasha is a system designed by Alberto Apostoli for Jacuzzi® that encloses in a single product a real wellness center with sauna, hammam and emotional shower, in a perfect synthesis of technology and performance. In just 8 square meters and in a size of 211X402 cm, it allows ten possible combinations, enriched with materials such as wood, Corian, crystal and steel. Its evolution, Sasha-Mi, represents a more compact version with two modules. Both products find the ideal application in residential and contract contexts.
Aqualite is a wellness system composed of five elements – shower head with its command, diverter with push technology, and two taps, designed by Alberto Apostoli to be fully integrated in any environment and to enhance the regenerating beauty of water. The light and minimal design of all the elements, conceived to be flush with the wall or ceiling, is combined with a sophisticated system of lighting that intuitively indicates the water temperature.
“I have a holistic approach to wellbeing, which has led me to explore the world of product design to create sophisticated systems from an aesthetic, technical and comfort point of view, designed on the needs of the user. In fact, I particularly want to put on the market, every time, something totally new, useful to satisfy new requests. Wellness has specific rules and there are not often suitable products on the market: it therefore becomes a terrain on which our companies and we designers could express ourselves more effectively and I am happy to have started this path and to continue it, with companies that understand its potential ”- Alberto Apostoli says.
