Stainless steel, shaped by skilled hands into exquisite creations. It’s this material, but also the approach to transforming it and the idea of crafting tools to enhance the value of haute cuisine, that draw the parallels between Abimis and Coltellerie Berti, suggesting their natural partnership.

For the first time, the expertise and vision of these two brands converge, creating a collection of accessories that echoes with shared finishes and details, and most importantly the idea of ongoing customisation.

The synergy is expressed through two sets, iconic of the Berti catalogue and production, each blade bearing the engraved logos of both brands. The first set, dedicated to cutting knives, comprises five elements designed for slicing bread, meat, fish, vegetables, and cheeses. The second set features a collection of six steak knives from the Tuscan company’s Convivio Nuovo line, perfect for elegant table settings.

The satin finish stainless steel blade echoes the traditional orbitally polished by hand finish of Abimis’s kitchen lines, with their enveloping and matt appearance. The handle, on the other hand, evokes the brand’s signature colour: it’s made of red methacrylate, complemented by brass rivets that further suggest a connection to the Ego collection and its handle, also crafted from the same material and featuring a soft, ring-like shape.

“Just as Abimis’s all-stainless steel kitchens are designed to bring professional kitchen equipment into the domestic sphere, Berti’s signature knives allow users to work with high-performance tools identical to those used in the professional catering world,” explains Anna Ongaro, at the helm of Abimis.

Tradition and craftsmanship, performance and customisation, finishes and details become seamless correspondences thanks to the new partnership: tangible values in the accessory line, enriching the Abimis line-up.
