In the beautiful frame of the Venice lagoon, the brand Kreoo from Vicenza presents a new project, where marble and Murano glass fuse together, enhancing the dearest tradition and materials of the Veneto region.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Marble and glass, the two millenary protagonists of Italian craftsmanship, will be the guests of honor at the Venice Arsenal on the occasion of The Venice Glass Week. Kreoo, a design brand based in Chiampo, Vicenza, decided to bring them to the lagoon in its the exhibition “Beyond Experience”, with the desire to overcome the boundaries of tradition. The event is scheduled from September 4th<\/sup>\u00a0to 12th<\/sup>\u00a0and will take place at building Lamierini 2 of the SpazioThetis complex.<\/p>\n

The exhibition will have free access from September 4 to 12, and it will disclose the virtuous stories of these two esteemed materials and the possibility of giving them a new perspective through innovative processes.<\/p>\n

“Aurora”, designed by Enzo Berti, is the highlight of the event: the fascinating fusion of solid marble and impalpable glass – created through the ancient art of glass blowing – welcomes and enhances the light component, which comes to life and brings us back to the warmth of a\u00a0dawn<\/em>\u00a0(Aurora in Italian).<\/p>\n

A special bond that inspired a collection of floor and table lights that will fill the space in different sizes and shapes, authentic art pieces to be experienced in the context of Venetian industrial architecture.<\/p>\n

“It is the first time that we approach the glass with our brand Kreoo, specialized in the creation of coverings, furniture and marble complements, and for the occasion we chose the Murano glass because it is the more prestigious in this field” says Alessandra Farinon, at the lead of the brand, who continues: \u201cIt is an extraordinary experience, and Aurora bonds together the values of the Veneto region, in a project that goes beyond the simple product design, it creates synergies. Enzo Berti has played a fundamental role in this sense, and he supports us in the exhibition also with his personal line of vases and furnishings in Murano glass, produced through a technique never experienced before”.<\/p>\n

“Filati” is the name of Enzo Berti’s collection, produced by the Venetian brand Memmo: the unique chromatic and tactile effect is reminiscent of a thread, which is woven in different colors and shaped to create materical objects. The Filati collection will be exhibited with Aurora and its delicate balance of transparency and opacity, given by the merger of the unique veins of marble with the convex profiles of glass.<\/p>\n

Beyond Experience is a concrete reflection on how to evolve the knowledge of craftsmanship into the contemporary world, keeping the focus on context and the territory of belonging.<\/p>\n
